Our MissionđŸ
Healing Hounds Haven exists to protect dogs who have nowhere else to turn and to help them move towards brighter, safer futures. We believe every dog deserves kind handling, appropriate veterinary care, and the opportunity to live a life free from fear.
We also believe in practical, ethical rescue: doing the right thing for the dog in front of us, not chasing quick outcomes.
Alongside our UK work, we are proud to support SFT Animal Sanctuary in Tangier, Moroccoâa forever loving home caring for over 1,000 animals and responding to daily rescue and medical emergencies.
SFT receives no government aid and relies entirely on donations and fundraising to continue lifesaving work including essential veterinary care, food and water delivery, medication, fuel, and vital TNVT/TNVR programmes to reduce suffering, control stray populations, and support long-term rabies prevention.
To help make support easier for people in the UK, H3UK collects donations on behalf of SFT, ensuring UK supporters can directly contribute to SFTâs urgent, ongoing needs while we continue our mission at home.
Our work is built around three principles:
Welfare first: Health, comfort, and emotional wellbeing come before everything else.
Positive support: We use reward-based training and low-stress handling.
Right match rehoming: We prioritise long-term success and honest guidance. With your help, we can extend compassion and practical support to animals in needâboth in the UK and through our fundraising partnership with SFT in Morocco.
